Eidos announces a third installment for the assassin action title.
Eidos announced today Hitman: Contracts, the third installment in the 3D assassin action game. You take on the role of Agent 47, one of the most efficient and deadly contract killers in history. The latest installment takes a step in a different direction, as you start the game wounded and trapped in Paris. Entering the psyche of a killer for hire, the developers promise the latest title to be the "darkest, most disturbing episode in the series.""Hitman: Contracts will reveal a new side to Hitman," said Janos Flosser, managing director of Io Interactive. "The game will be epic, highly disturbing, but most importantly an enjoyable experience. The technology we are employing will make it one of the most advanced games on the market."
The game boasts a new graphic engine and an improved control system to appeal to a broad range of gamers. As in the previous, you will have an arsenal of close-combat weapons and firearms to dispose of your enemies.
Hitman: Contracts is being developed by Io Interactive and will be available for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC in spring 2004.
