The 3D brawling game returns for the PS2 and Xbox

Namco today announced Dead to Rights II: Hell to Pay, the second installment to Namco?s third-person 3D brawling game. You will once again play as Jack Slate to fight the unscrupulous criminals of Grant City. The game will offer new gameplay mechanics, and a new (Max Payne inspired?) slow-motion diving system.

"We are extremely excited to announce the sequel to our highly successful `Dead to Rights' title," said Andre Emerson, Senior Producer at Namco Hometek Inc. "With even more groundbreaking gameplay features, a gripping new hardboiled story and high cinematic production values, `Dead to Rights II: Hell to Pay' redefines the highly successful Action-Noir genre established by the original."

Dead to Rights II: Hell to Pay will be released for the PS2 and Xbox in Fall 2004.
