A New Character revealed for the Upcoming Spawn: Armageddon Game

Namco and Todd McFarlane Productions to shed light on mysterious Spawn comic character

Namco Hometek, Inc. and Todd McFarlane Productions have revealed a new character that will appear in the upcoming Spawn: Armageddon game. The previously nameless character ?Mammon? appeared in the background of numerous Spawn comic books, as Spawn?s personal guide for wisdom and knowledge. However, the relationship is still an ambiguous one, as Spawn is unsure of Mammon?s motives and ambitions.

"When the opportunity arose to introduce Mammon through the Spawn video game, it was obvious that this was the way to roll out the red carpet for the character,? said Todd McFarlane, creator of the Spawn series. ?Good, neutral or evil, it's safe to say that Spawn fans will have the opportunity to get to know Mammon in much greater detail over the next several comic book episodes and, of course, the new Spawn game."

Spawn: Armageddon is a third-person action game that will be released on November 21 for the GameCube, Xbox and PS2.
