Madden NFL 2004 Breaks Sales Records

Two million copies in three weeks translates to a mighty big EA payday.

Records exist to fall, and when it comes to Madden NFL, the record book constantly needs to be re-written. With a whopping 2 million in combined sales over the past three weeks, the latest edition of EA?s flagship has more than doubled last year?s record sales numbers. Madden NFL 2004 is currently the #1 selling sports title on the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, PC, Game Boy Advance and PlayStation. Over 200,000 users have created accounts for use on the PS2 network as well, giving Madden numbers comparable to Star Wars: Galaxies in terms of user base.
