The heir apparent to Grand Theft Auto gets pushed back a month.

Take-Two Interactive has pushed Manhunt?s release date by a month, moving it from October to mid-November. The action game, in development by proven Scottish hitmaker Rockstar North, bears high expectations, tagged as this year?s Grand Theft Auto. The game, described as ?a brutal blood sport?, follows James Earl Cash as he is hunted for sport. The game requires stealth and more than a little brutality, but no cars, which may disappoint Grand Theft Auto fans.

Analysts are predicting that Max Payne 2 for the PC will be moved up in the schedule in order to make up for Manhunt?s delay.
