Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

Ubi Soft teams with a movie website to bring you streaming previews of the upcoming game.

Ubi Soft and IFILM have teamed up to cross-promote the upcoming video game version of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon by putting trailers on the usually movie-centric website. Last week?s trailer featured Li Mu Bai?s segments of the game, as the legendary warrior slashed and kicked his way through the upcoming game?s movie-based levels. This week, IFILM released another trailer featuring Jen, and in the next two weeks, Shu Lien and Lo?s portions of the game will be shown via streaming video.

The move is part of a step to bring movies and games closer together, with IFILM and other movie outlets becoming increasingly amenable to video game companies, as IFILM?s five million users can now see video game footage alongside their movie clips and trailers. ?This series marks the first of many initiatives built around our increasingly popular video game channel,? said Adam Frank, CEO of IFILM, hinting that even more games will have their trailers featured on the site in the near future.
