Visual Concepts releases more ESPN NHL screenshots and info

This week?s installment showcases the game?s classic modes and new gameplay options.

Visual Concepts and Sega have distributed a few more screenshots and movies of ESPN NHL Hockey, this time highlighting the game?s skill competition modes. From the Hardest Shot contest, in which players try to get their slap shots over 100 MPH, to the one-on-one Breakaway Relay mode, players will have plenty of mini-games to choose from. The game also features many classic features, including old uniforms, face masks and even stadiums.

ESPN NHL Hockey will go on sale in early September, so stay tuned for GamePro?s review of Sega Sports? first game away from the NHL 2K name.
