Sega?s really hammering in the ESPN angle.

Through its ?Top Shelf Tuesday? program, Visual Concepts released today a new batch of screens for both the PS2 and Xbox versions of its upcoming sports game ESPN NHL Hockey (formerly known as NHL 2K4). The screens highlight the updated player models, which are one of the ways Visual Concepts is trying to up the realism factor in its game. The game will also feature many of ESPN?s trademark presentation, from statistics and overlays to ESPN?s top commentary team, Gary Thorne and Bill Clement.

ESPN NHL Hockey will be released for the PS2 and the Xbox in September?sorry, GameCube owners.
