Level-5 Reveals New Games

Dragon Quest VIII, TFLO, and a new PS2 RPG.
Level-5, the Fukuoka, Japan-based developer of the Dark Cloud series, launched a major overhaul of its Japanese homepage today, revealing new images from True Fantasy Live Online, Dragon Quest VIII, and an unnamed PlayStation 2 RPG project.Although information on this new title is scarce?it's simply called "Next RPG" for the moment?the game is likely the newest update to the Dark Cloud series that president Akihiro Hino hinted at in a magazine interview last spring. Hino said that the next Dark Cloud would be a much different game from the previous two, and judging by the artwork on the "Next RPG" page, he's right?the atmosphere is more science-fiction than medieval fantasy, not unlike the Final Fantasy XII concept art Square Enix revealed last winter.
In addition to this page, Level-5 also released clearer screenshots from Dragon Quest VIII, the PS2 game they're currently developing with Square Enix.
