Soul Calibur II U.S. Version Screens

...and finally closing today with the Xbox version. Hurrah!

Any decent fighter fan has probably noted by now that GamePro's been giving some fairly exhaustive coverage to the multiple versions of Namco's Soul Calibur II. And with good reason?after all, it's the sequel to one of the best 3D fighters ever made, and (even without the famous name attached to it) it's a killer title to play.

All of the stuff we've posted up so far has been based on the Japanese versions of Soul Calibur II?today, though, Namco unleashed the first shots from the three U.S. versions they're working on. All three ports, due out late August in America, will be enhanced a bit over the Japanese originals?there are three new unlockable characters, and you can pick between English and Japanese voices?so if you haven't imported yet, you might as well hold out until the official U.S. release.

GamePro will have some updated impressions of the U.S. SC2 once they all come in, so be patient.
