First from the GameCube...
Any decent fighter fan has probably noted by now that GamePro's been giving some fairly exhaustive coverage to the multiple console versions of Namco's Soul Calibur II. And with good reasonafter all, it's the sequel to one of the best 3D fighters ever made, and (even without the famous name attached to it) it's a killer title to play. All of the stuff we've posted up so far has been based on the Japanese versions of Soul Calibur IItoday, though, Namco unleashed the first shots from the three U.S. versions they're currently working on. All three ports, due out late August in America, will be enhanced a bit over the Japanese originalsthere are three new unlockable characters, and you can pick between English and Japanese voices. If you haven't imported the game by this time, then you might as well hold out until the official U.S. release.
GamePro will have some updated impressions of the U.S. SC2 once they all come in, so be patient.
