Ubi Hires Top-Name Voice Talent

David Duchovny and Adam West join the XIII team.

Ubi Soft Entertainment announced today that they've hired two new actors to provide voices for XIII, their upcoming multiplatform first-person shooter. It's very likely that you've heard of these guys before, actually?according to Ubi's report, David Duchovny, star of The X-Files, will voice the title character (a secret agent who's lost his memory), while TV's very own Adam West will play Gen. Carrington, a military man leading an independent inquiry into the presidential assassination that serves as the game's main plot point.

In a press release, West called XIII's cel-shaded style "extremely eye-catching" and couldn't resist the urge to compare the game to the Batman TV show he starred in: "The game's comic text and pop-up windows are similar to elements we used with the Batman series to stay true to the comic. In XIII, it builds this graphic-novel world to the last detail."

XIII is hitting all three consoles and the PC this fall. For more info, check out GamePro.com's first preview.
