Nintendo's horror game could hit the airwaves soon.
The daily Variety newspaper reported today that production company Hypnotic has bought the exclusive TV and feature-film rights from Nintendo for Eternal Darkness; Sanity's Requiem, a GameCube-only horror game that became a cult hit among GamePro staffers in 2002.The deal gives Hypnotic (probably best known as the outfit behind the Terry Tate advertising campaign for Reebok) the rights to make movies and/or TV shows based on Silicon Knights' thriller. The production outfit will take care of development, financing, production and distribution; no details on what sort of project they have in mind have been announced.
