Bandai Lowers .hack Price

Volume 1 is a bit cheaper now.

Bandai announced today that .hack Part 1: Infection, the first of their four-volume PS2 role-playing series, will be discounted to $29.99 effective July 1. The new price should make it easier for gamers to get into the series' storyline, which runs across all four games and is difficult to pick up if you begin halfway through.

Part 1: Infection and Part 2: Mutation, along with their respective pack-in anime DVDs, are both currently on sale in stores across the nation. Part 3: Outbreak is coming out sometime in September (Bandai hasn't set a firm date yet), and Part 4: Quarantine is expected by the end of the year.
