On the official Japanese Guilty Gear homepage, Sammy and Arc System Works unveiled the first details today on the home version of Guilty Gear XX #RELOAD, a small update to the 2D fighter released in America last winter under the name Guilty Gear X2. The PS2 port, slated for release in a few short weeks, will include the following game modes:

  • Arcade Mode
  • Demo Mode
  • Gallery Mode
  • M.O.M. Mode
  • Mission Mode
  • Option Mode
  • Survival Mode
  • Training Mode
  • Versus 2P Mode
  • Versus CPU Mode

In addition, #RELOAD will include a revised version of Robo-Ky, a mysterious fighter who was an unlockable character in the home version of X2. No word on whether the mission or gallery modes will include new content.

The PS2 #RELOAD is scheduled to hit Japanese stores July 31 for the budget price of 3980 yen ($34). No word on a U.S. release.
