Kirby's Air Ride...Continued

More screens from Nintendo's cutesy racer.

If you own a GameCube (or a GBA, or a Nintendo 64, even), you probably have realized by now that there is indeed no such thing as too much Kirby. Nintendo themselves agree with this, too?today they added a cartload of new screenshots from Kirby's Air Ride, HAL Laboratory's upcoming stars-n-rainbows racing game, to their Japanese homepage.

Today's Kirby screen update primarily concentrates on the game's "air ride machines," the speeding hoverpods our hero and his friends (or enemies) will be bipping about in. These run the gamut from the Warp Star, the bog-standard device Kirby normally uses to get from stage to stage in his other games, to the sprightly Wing Star and blazingly fast Formula Star, all the way to the mysterious Devil Star?not very fast, but great if you prefer attacking opponents instead of outracing them.

Kirby's Air ride is due out for the GameCube July 11 in Japan and not too far after in America. Stay tuned for more info.
