Dead to Rights Goes Platinum

The Xbox version is now $19.95. Neat.

Namco Hometek announced today that the original Xbox version of Dead to Rights, the publisher's hard-boiled action shooter, will be joining Microsoft's Platinum Hits lineup of budget Xbox rereleases. Starting right now, the game will be available in stores for $19.95, making it both cheap and easy to experience a little ultraviolence in the privacy of your own home.

"We're incredibly excited and honored to have Dead to Rights entered into the Xbox's Platinum Hits program?h, said producer Andre Emerson in a statement. "With a lower price point, we hope that even more gamers can experience Jack Slate's one-man-war against crime in the tough streets of Grant City."

Dead to Rights now becomes the 18th title in the Platinum Hits cheapie library, a fine $20 lineup full of fun Xbox titles from halcyon days gone by. The full list looks something like this:
