The Disney RPG (and their one and only game for 2002) will hit stores September 17, a little earlier than previously announced.
Square Electronic Arts sent word today that Kingdom Hearts, the world's first Disney-themed Japanese RPG, will officially hit stores in the U.S. September 17. The release date was originally rumored to be sometime around October, but this announcement pushes that date upwards by about a month. As we've discussed earlier, the U.S. Kingdom Hearts has a surprising amount of new stuff that our Japanese compadres didn't have a chance to see. Besides the English voice cast (which we can officially call "all-star" now that Haley Joel Osment is in it), Square is including a new skill level, three new bosses, and...and...well, we wouldn't want to spoil everything for you. If you can't wait to check it out, you can have a look at the trailer Disney will include in all Buena Vista video titles starting later this summer. Our full review, of course, isn't too far away, either. So read it!
