Sony Computer Entertainment hands out some more visual aids for its online-compatible offroad racer. Soccer, anyone?
After a fairly positive response at E3 and a successful Greatest Hits re-release of the original, Sony Computer Entertainment is finally starting up the hype machine for ATV Offroad Fury 2. It's not due out until this November, but it's already got quite an impressive set of new features, even without considering the fact that it'll have full 4-player online support using the upcoming PS2 network adaptor. The new ATV Offroad Fury will feature seven race modes, and will include a rider editor that'll let you customize your character's clothing, helmet, and all the other accoutrements any so-called hotshot racer wouldn't dare be caught dead without. A new waypoint editor will also allow you to build your own racecourses out of a basic enduro-style track environment. If you get bored of that, then you'll always be able to kick back with Tag, Soccer, King of the Hill and the rest of the included mini-games.
Keep your eyes peeled for more information on ATV Offroad Fury 2 as Sony sends it out. Until then, here are a few screenshots for your enjoyment.
