Need for Speed SHIFT gets free team racing add-on
- November 20, 2009 11:27 AM PST
EA to add team-based racing plus some legendary cars to Need for Speed SHIFT next week - for free.
The core of thew new update for Need for Speed SHIFT is the "team racing" update that sees two teams of six racers challenge each other online. As with real motorsports, team tactics will be a vital part of working through this new mode, so players will need to coordinate very efficiently in order to be successful.
Supplementing this new way to play will be five new cars; a 1967 Corvette Stingray 427, and 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T, and a 1998 Toyota Supra Mark IV. The update will be available on both PC and on Xbox Live on December 1, with the PlayStation 3 version dropping on December 10. The update will be free for all users.

free is always good, but honestly, too bad it couldnt have been for a better game, i was extremely dissapointed in NFS shift, seems like Carbon is still the best in the series, this is one of the better looking ones graphically, but graphics aren't everything, maybe next year we mite get a good NFS title =/ *crosses fingers*
