Metal Gear Solid Touch just $0.99 today

Konami has reduced the price of all of its premium iPhone games today. The one you really care about? Yes, that's just $0.99. If you've never tried it, now is probably the time.
If you've always wondered about Kojima's touch-based shooter based on Metal Gear Solid for the iPhone, but have been put off by Konami's premium pricing, today is a significant day. All of the publisher's titles in the iTunes App Store have been reduced to just $0.99, and yes that includes Metal Gear Solid Touch (iTunes link.) Also included in this limited offer are Silent Hill The Escape (which really isn't so hot,) Dance Dance Revolution S and S+, Frogger, Silent Scope, Power Pros Touch, Krazy Kart Racing, and Field Prowlers.

Konami's had pretty frequent price breaks on their games--I picked up Silent Hill, Silent Scope, and MGS for under $4 each, but this is by far the lowest I've seen them drop their games. While I love paying less for apps, I wonder how much playing shell games with app prices affects sales in the long run...
