Mario-emblazoned NASCAR races Saturday, finishes in 12th

Denny Hamlin rode a GameStop-sponsored car adorned with New Super Mario Bros. Wii art this weekend. Check out the car and find out how it did!
Earlier today, Nintendo sent us an image of the car Denny Hamlin will be occupying on Saturday at the Phoenix International Raceway. No, the company hasn't turned into a group of car racing enthusiasts--they're touting the GameStop-sponsored New Super Mario Bros. Wii car that will take to the track Saturday, November 14, at the Able Body Labor 200--the only professional sports event named after a temp staffing company, to the best of my knowledge.
Hamlin finished in second place at the Able Body Labor 200 in 2008, according to the San Luis Obispo Tribune. New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be available at retailers on Sunday.
UPDATE: Auto Racing Daily is reporting that Denny and Mario finished in 12th place on Saturday, out of a field of 43. As Mario Kart drivers can tell you, the cars in the middle of the pack get the worst powerups.

Nope. After seeing "Gamestop" on the front of it, I became disgusted and will no longer watch.

why is GameStop on it. I thought it was cool until I seen that too. GameStop is a scam.

It's a Nascar model, Joey Logano drives number 20 now, Stewart changed to 14.
