Natal launch rumors--Nov. 2010, $50-85, 14 games

British game business site MCV (via Joystiq) has divulged rumored details of Project Natal's launch that have reportedly been provided to developers during Microsoft demos of the motion-sensing technology. The biggest (potential) details? That the device will release in November of 2010, for a price ranging between $50 and $85.

Microsoft, reportedly showing the tech off in order to drum up more support for Natal, has been aiming for a launch slate of 14 games, with titles in the works from companies like Activision, Capcom, EA, Konami, and Namco Bandai. We contacted Microsoft for comments about the rumors as well as the authenticity of the demos, and the company responded "We cannot comment on rumors and speculation."

Don't get me wrong I'll buy just to have it but I think and hope that this won't eliminate the standard controller who wants to do all that workout every single time you want to play a game?

Natal
$50 and $85.....?

get serious this Microsoft there talking about a company that charge a 100 bucks for a cheap looking Wi-Fi adapter.

I would imagine that Natal is going to come bundled with one of the 14 launch games. Kinda like how Wii comes with Wii Sports.

Thats a good price point. Any higher and most people won't buy it anyway. Might as well keep it affordable at $50.

I bet it will be more the $50. Their accessories are a bit expensive at times. I bet all those that hate motion controllers are going to start to love it by next year.

This website is getting so glitchy.

On topic, I don't belive it will last as the truth. Microsoft raise the price if sony's motion does poor, and keep this price or lower it if son'ys motion does well. They will not finally decide to sell something at a worthy price.
