Dante's Inferno rickrolls the media, incurs wrath

EA has sent another item out to the media to represent the nine circles of Hell. This time, they've sent a box that plays one of the most satanic songs ever created--Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up."

Dante's Inferno rickrolls the media, incurs wrath

So far, we've been sent barbeque lunches and $200 checks on behalf of the upcoming action game Dante's Inferno. It seems like whoever's behind these promotions has stopped playing nice, as we've recieved reports that the next item, signifying "Wrath," is a box that blares out Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" on repeat.

CHUD.com seems to be the first media outlet to fall victim to wrath. As you can see in the videos below, CHUD's Alex Rivello recieved a box playing the aforementioned tune that came with a hammer and goggles. The last two items came in handy, as he learned the only way to stop the music was to destroy the box.

GamePro has yet to receive the box, but as soon as we do, expect to see a video of us destroying it, Office Space style. In the meantime, CHUD's wrath is below.

That "Never gonna give you up" video is all over Youtube. It could be a video about absolutely nothing and in cuts "Never gonna give you up" with that funny ass dancing. Funny each time.

Rick rolling is the dumbest thing since whiney ass fanboys. But atleast you get to destroy this one.

Whoever came up with this is seriously made of WIN. I betcha that not all the boxes are Rick Rolls though. Gamepro's box is probably gonna be "Do you really wanna hurt me" by Kulture Klub.

Hilarious. Damn, EA's done some very interesting PR on this one. God, I'd pay good money for one of those boxes.
