Miyamoto: 'Move your body around' in next Wii Zelda

In a recent interview, Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto stated that it will be "really fun to move your body around." in the Wii sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Miyamoto: 'Move your body around' in next Wii Zelda

In an interview with MTV's Multiplayer blog (a video of which is embedded below), famed Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto briefly discussed the development of the two upcoming Legend of Zelda titles. While he spends the bulk of his time talking about November's The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the Nintendo DS, he does say that "It's really fun to move your body around." in the mysterious Wii sequel.

Miyamoto has previously discussed including the Wii MotionPlus in the new Legend of Zelda, but the fact that he says "body" in the new quote seems to indicate that the Balance Board may be included too. Either that, or he's planning some sort of EA Sports Active-style contraption that attaches the controller to your leg. Either that, or he uses the term "body" very loosely. The video is embedded below.

Nooo!
Please make alternate controller options!

I agree with you guys.
not everyone wants motion control (cough, nintendo).

All this negativity I'm feeling! Something ppl have to remember is that if it uses M+ it simply can't use classic control. Who knows, simulating swordplay just might be amazingly epic. As for the "using the body" thing... yeah, I doubt it'll actually be in the game.

if I have to move my body to play an adventure game, will not play it. I love Zelda games. I do not want motion controls, I would love to have the option to use a GameCube controller.

not everyone wants to move their body you should be given an option at least with twilight princess you had the option of the gamecube version this it looks like your stuck with the wii mote

No Zelda fan will play a Zelda game that uses the balance board. I know I sure won't. Twilight Princess is a wonderful game and works perfectly the way it is now. The first post sums it up perfectly. Alternate controller options need to be made. Because I will not play a Zelda game that strictly uses the balance board. I don't even own one and I don't plan on buying one.
