More Grand Theft Auto news today, this time in the shape of some exclusive content that will be appearing in the PSP version of Chinatown Wars.
Rockstar has been slowly revealing details about how the PSP version of Chinatown Wars will differ from its Nintendo DS (and ultimately iPhone) counterparts on its official website. Last week it revealed the exclusive mission, "Factory Fun" which is an homage to the "classic" Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mission "Are You Going to San Fierro?" In "Factory Fun" Chinatown Wars protagonist Huang must destroy a warehouse full of "illicit crops" with a flamethrower before escaping unharmed.
Today, the studio unveiled a new character in the shape of Melanie Mallard, an aspiring journalist and documentary filmmaker who gets caught up in a plot involving the criminal activities of Liberty City's Triad gang. Melanie has made a deal with Chan Jaoming to get a behind-the-scenes look at his business in hopes that she will emerge with a career-making story. As you can imagine, this doesn't go according to plan. Mallard, we're told, also makes an appearance in "Factory Fun" as a journalist covering the resulting blaze.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be available for the PSP later this month.
If you live in Orlando, FL you can get some hands-on time with the game at the Amway Arena this weekend. Look for the Chinatown Wars van there today, tomorrow, and Sunday.

Great! Sounds very interesting. It would be worth small loans at least to avail this. Read more

I hate when games are ported to another console and at the same time new content is added. That means I have to spend even more money to play the new version.
