Xbox Live Arcade may move into another dimension, if a recent survey asking about Avatar arcade games turns out to be true.
Your avatar can already try on new clothes, play with a cardboard paper towel roll and even play golf, but if a new consumer survey sent out by Microsoft is to be believed, they'll soon be able to hit up the arcade.
The survey, obtained by Joystiq asks gamers their thoughts on the service, and let's them choose a possible name including " The Game Room," " The Tower of Rom," and "Classics Live."
Microsoft's interest in creating a virtual arcade for avatars is no doubt fueled by the fact that the service's main competitor; Sony's Home has one of it's own. No word yet on exactly what type of games would be accessible in the virtual arcade.

This seems useless and a lot like Home, which isn't very popular anyway.

exactly what I thought you'd say. So basically, since live has it, its better. And what does the number of people on each network, have to do with the success of each version? lol doesnt make sense to me.

Already, there is a big fundamental difference between "Home" and this would be "Avatar Arcade". The Marketing. Home was marketed and hyped as an Xbox Live killer. That was a big mistake by Sony as the customer expectation would never be realized. This Avatar Arcade seems to be just something else for XBL members to play with. Nothing more.
