Dee Jay is latest Super Street Fighter IV reveal

Capcom has revealed the third new combatant for Super Street Fighter IV, and it's Super Street Fighter II's Dee Jay!

Dee Jay is latest Super Street Fighter IV reveal

Though it should have been obvious to everyone when T. Hawk was announced a few days ago, Capcom confirmed via its Unity Blog that Dee Jay will be joining his fellow Super Street Fighter II strongman in Super Street Fighter IV. Along with the newly-announced Korean Tae Kwon Do master Juri, the new character count for next year's updated fighter stands at three.

Super Street Fighter IV producer Yoshitori Ono has promised "about 8 new characters" for the game, with a mix of classic and all-new fighters. Which old-school Street Fighter characters do you want to see added next?

So we've heard of three of the new Super Street Fighter IV characters, and I've only been impressed with one. Sorry, but T. Hawk and Dee Jay didn't make SF4 for a reason. They're kinda lame. If Skullomania makes the next batch of reveals, though, I might change my tune.

He had the fastest charge in the game. LMAO!!! Not to mention his slide and Spinning Double Roundhouse allowed him to advance while charging both down AND back. It was unfair and I loved it.

Yep, and if they jumped in you had that covered as well with that rising kick he did.

Screw you guys mang. Picking Dee Jay was like picking Balrog. Cheap as hell.

Surrise, surprise. Capcom is adding a few characters to resell the game at full price. Just like they did with the 83 versions of Street Fighter II in the 90s. I pretty much saw this one coming as soon as Street Fighter IV was announced, though I thought maybe they would do things via downloadable content for less money. But that was silly of me. This is Capcom and Street Fighter!

I'd recommend holding out for Super Street Fighter IV Turbo. You know that will be on the way at some point.

Super Street Fighter IV is not going to be full price, thankfully. If it ends up at, say, $30, I'd buy a new version with 8 new characters, rebalanced fighters, and new endings for every character.

I really like Dee Jay to be honest. Not a fan of T Hawk though. Is anyone?
