Jack Thompson sues Facebook for hate group

Jack Thompson is brandishing what's left of his legal power, suing a Facebook for harboring a group that dislikes him.
It looks like the loopy disbarred lawyer Jack Thompson just can't help himself. For those unfamiliar with his plight, he's been a thorn in the side of the gaming industry for years. Before he got his law license revoked he was known to launch crusades against video game violence.
Now, license-less and listless, Jack Thompson decides to sue an even bigger party. Facebook. The suit is for $120 million dollars...
Here's just a bit of background on Jack, he would always sue big companies like Rockstar for making Grand Theft Auto and Bully, calling them "public nuisances." The courtroom even became tired of his antics, and eventually they disbarred and found Jack guilty on 27 counts of "using means that have no purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person."
Back to the present, as we all know, there are many types of Facebook groups out there.. and yes, some can be quite inane: The "I Love Fuzzy Pipe cleaners" group has 23,000 members! Okay, even though I made that up, it doesn't mean these no-purpose groups don't exist... and they have every right to.
Jack isn't angry about a Pipe Cleaners group. He's angry about the "I Hate Jack Thompson" group and Facebook's refusal to take the group down. Is it worth 120 million dollars in what Jack calls "intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress?" C'mon, my soul isn't even worth that much.
"The suit is without merit and we will fight it vigorously," read a statement released by Facebook. Hats off to you, Facebook.
With no real case and no real ground to stand on, he even compared his Facebook group ( a non-violent group with all of 1,500 members) to a FB Poll with the question: "Should President Barack Obama should be assassinated?" This poll was obviously taken down as soon as FB discovered it.
I can't wait to see how this all shakes down. If you were the judge hearing his case, what would be your ruling?

Go Facebook! If he can actually sue to people speaking their mind, and win, then we have lost one of our most important rights as American citizens!!! I spit on you, Jack Thompson, and have joined this group to piss you off!

First he lost his licence to practice law, now he's working on losing his life savings (losers of suits get stuck paying legal fees for both sides.)
Ol' Jackie-boy is just dripping with WIN these days!

He will lose this case, just like all the others. Freedom of speech,Jack. You ever heard of it? If there are no actual threats on his life then no harm, no foul.

I think it's quite clear the judge will probably rule in Facebook's favor, so I'll take this time to say that Chamillionaire is spitting fire.

Wow. I have less education than this man (so far), and yet I am clearly smarter than him. Just goes to show, huh?
Oh, by the way, I joined that group BECAUSE of this article. GG, Jack. GG.
