New 360 Wifi Adapter Confirmed

It looks like Microsoft is working on a new and improved wireless adapter.

Following Microsoft's recent Xbox 360 Elite $50 mail-in rebate, online gamers will soon be offered the chance to save a bit more dough with Microsoft's new and improved wifi adapter.

Microsoft's new adapter will feature two antennae for better signal reception, and will debut at the starting price of $100. The old Xbox 360 wifi adapter will also be dropping in price to $79.99.

The new adapter in question will be a part of Microsoft's holiday line-up, and will feature the ability to stream 1080p videos via Xbox LIVE. Keep an eye out for more details when Microsoft releases the details regarding their Zune video store later this year.

Wired connection is the only way to go. Anyone that can't do a wired connection shouldn't game online.

Hey, lets sell something that the other consoles already have built in for 100$ extra!

I hope everyone boycotts this so MS realizes we aren't as dumb as they think we are. But people really are that dumb so it will probly sell well.

Wow what a ripoff for wifi users. They should have priced this at $50 at least and lowered the price of the old adapter to $30 or $20. Thank god I have a wired connection which everybody knows is better anyway. Shame on you Microsoft.
