Lucasarts bringing new puzzle-platformer to XBLA

Yesterday, Lucasarts delivered the first gameplay footage of Lucidity, a new puzzle-based platformer due out on Xbox Live Arcade this month.

GameTrailers has just delivered the first details of an intruiging new IP from Lucasarts, which debuted on GameTrailers TV last night. The game, entitled Lucidity, is a 2D puzzle-based platformer. The first gameplay footage, which can be viewed above, shows a game in which you seemingly have no control over the game's protagonist, instead placing platforms and other items in her path to shield her from harm and keep her moving ahead.

Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to pontificate about the details of the game, as it will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade later this month. Keep an eye on GamePro Arcade as the release date nears.

THE VERDICT by Dave Rudden Dave Rudden's Avatar

While it seems a bit slow-paced, I'm really enamored with Lucidity's intelligent-looking gameplay and gorgeous visuals. With Lucasarts' pedigree, I can't see this one failing.

Looks interesting.

Based on the description, it sounds a little like Lemmings.

Guess I'll be checking it out when it hits XBLA.
