Can you sue a company for releasing a glitchy game? One Halo 3 player is going to find out.
The plaintiff and defendant face off.
Gamer Randy Nunez is not happy with all of the bugs and glitches he's finding in Halo 3. In fact, he's so unhappy that he's taking Bungie and Microsoft to court.
Nunez and others claim, in a class-action complaint, that "Halo 3 consistently causes the Xbox 360 to 'crash,' 'freeze' or 'lock up' while the game is being played."
According to Joystiq, the filing states that Microsoft and Bungie haven't taken any steps to correct these mistakes within the game, nor have they attempted to recall it.
I can just picture the judge sighing, rubbing his eyes, and walking out of the courtroom without saying a word. Good luck with all this, Randy.

He's only doing it to see if he can get any money out of either Bungie or Microsoft. If he does, I fear for the future of gaming.

It's not Bungie's fault if the 360 crashed while he was playing. I'm willing to bet money that it didn't matter which game he was playing at the time. Both the 360 and PS3 can crash at any moment,as is the case with so many other devices that need a hard drive. That's just the way it is.
