Wii Fit Plus out 10/4, replacing Wii Fit

After over a year of sales dominance, Nintendo will be retiring Wii Fit on October 4th. No, they haven't went crazy--Wii Fit Plus will be replacing it on store shelves.
Relive your Double Dare dreams come October 4.
At this year's GameStop Managers conference, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime revealed the details of the company's follow up to one of the biggest-selling titles on store shelves, Wii Fit.
Wii Fit Plus will be coming to the Wii on October 4th of this year, in two separate retail configurations. The game will be sold in a $100 bundle that includes the game and Wii Balance Board, and in a $20 standalone package.
Since Wii Fit Plus includes every excersise present in the original, twenty new ones, customizable routines, and a calorie counter, the usefulness of the original is called into question. To that end, Nintendo announced that Wii Fit Plus will be replacing the original on store shelves.
The original Wii Fit released in May of last year, earning an editors choice score of 4.5 from GamePro and tens of millions in sales.

Don't have Wii Fit...but I agree about DLC. I would TOTALLY pay to get more tracks in Mario Kart or to have new opponents in Punch Out! Nintendo is missing out on some DLC profits!

Thats true about the DLC but I doubt that (judging from most current DLC prices) we would get TWENTY new games and exercises for $20. THATS $1 PER EXERCISE/GAME!!! A costume in SF4 cost more than that. LMAO!!!

I liked the original Wii Fit and I'll be getting the $20 "Plus" upgrade. Sounds worth it.
