Invincible Tiger prowls onto Xbox Live Arcade today

Even though it wasn't announced as a release this week, Namco Bandai has unleashed their newest Xbox Live Arcade game today: Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao.
After a month-and-a-half of blockbusters thanks to Summer of Arcade on Xbox Live Arcade (we'll ignore the Turtles in Time remake), I expected Microsoft to take things a little slow. When Xbox spokesman Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb's website announced a duo of NBA 2K10 Draft Combine and the previously-released on PS3 Watchmen Part 2, I proclaimed the Summer of Arcade to be over. It looks like I may have spoken too soon, as Namco Bandai unexpectedly released Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao onto Xbox Live Arcade today.
Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao kicks Xbox Live Arcade in the gut, starting today.
I caught wind of Invincible Tiger on one of our affiliate sites, GamePro Arcade, and then saw the official announcement via Major Nelson, and decided to download the game for myself. Mixing elements of the NES classic Kung-Fu and the Genesis action game Rolling Thunder seemed like a recipe for success in the brief time I was able to spend with the game. I hit up the contacts at Major Nelson about this mystery game, and apparently, even the Xbox's public eye didn't see this one coming as I received a reply stating "I was surprised myself this morning when I saw it!"
I'll give myself some more time to pass my judgment, and of course, the folks at GPArcade will weigh in with their better-informed opinion, but it's safe to say that this game is already pleasantly surprising a lot of people.

Got the demo for this game and it handle's really smoothly. The character's, background's and artwork are in this really cool ancient Chinese brush artwork. Plus, if you have a 3D ready HDTV or just a pair of 3D glasses? There are different 3D mode settings in the option's menu.

Maybe there couldn't be sure it would be ready for release. I read in the Shadow Complex developer interview that the promising game were apporached about Summer of Arcade and the ones who knew they could make the deadline got included.
Maybe I.T. could guarantee a date. But I hope they give it some pub like Shadow Complex has garnered. MS should advertise these puppies on TV and well as online & print.
