Microsoft taking applications for Xbox Live update preview

If you can't wait until the fall to see the neat new Netflix and Xbox Live updates headed to the Xbox 360, Microsoft is granting early access to some of those who fill out a survey.
Xbox spokesman Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb has updated his blog with details on how Xbox Live users can gain early access to the Xbox Live update headed to select media today. By filling out a survey online, users can earn a shot at check out the new features coming this fall to Xbox Live. While not every participant is guaranteed entry into the preview, Hryb notes that "We?re looking for multiple thousands of participants, so your chances of making it in are good."

Gamers who are interested in test-driving the new update must fill out the survey consisting of details about where they live and what internet service they use, among other information. Users must have a valid Windows Live ID in order to complete the questionnaire. And while the preview will be open to all Xbox Live users, Gold members will receive preference in selection above Silver members.

Yea, I signed up for it...Not a netflix member though. I'm sure that will surely hurt my chances of getting into the beta...but I would like to preview the new dashboard.
