Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines for PSP releases first teaser trailer

The first teaser trailer for the Assassin's Creed PSP installment, Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, has been released.
This morning, Kotaku got their hands on the first teaser trailer for Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, which is the next PSP installment of the AC franchise, that apparently will tie the link between the original AC and the upcoming Assassin's Creed II.
Though the video doesn't actually show any legitimate gameplay, it does boast some impressive graphics on the PSP and looks to be a pretty interesting title. Perhaps it will fare better than last years Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles for the DS, which met with less than stellar reviews.
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines is set for release later this holiday season 2009.

Though I doubt this will be the way the game actually plays, the teaser's dialogue makes it seems as if you'll be playing as an opponent or opponents against Altair, which would be a cool twist on the story and gameplay. But, again, I doubt it. What would AC be without some Altair jumping and killing?

so far the trailer looks good on the psp i might pick this up. We need more games like this on the psp

This is not a teaser trailer. It is a full length trailer. A teaser trailer cannot show gameplay footage or much of any kind of footage (cutscenes, etc.). It's too long for a teaser. A teaser trailer just announces the game and may give subtle visual or auditory clues.

wtf?? why are console game franchises releasing prequels/sequels on handhelds lately? its stupid because this game is probably gonna suck (assassins creed on the psp? cmon) but if i dont play this im not going to understand the story as well when i play assassin's creed 2 (the real deal).

Umm, what about Daxter, Secret Agent Clank and Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters were incredible games, as well as Killzone: Liberation and Resistance : Retribution. And since the PSP is the only modern console I have, I don't get to play the "Big Games" such as Halo 3 and Killzone 2.
