Fallout 3: 'Point Lookout' DLC released with new patch for PC players

"Point Lookout" the latest expansion pack for Fallout 3 was released today for the Xbox 360 and PC.

The Fallout 3: Point Lookout downloadable content has been released today, and its swamp ridden territories come with an all new patch for the PC edition to support the accompanying new achievements.

Point Lookout will expand upon the Maryland swamp with new quests, new freaky enemies and new weapons to blast their heads off with. To venture forth into Point Lookout, PC and Xbox 360 players can purchase the expansion for 800 Microsoft Points ($10), while those with a PS3 will have to wait a while for its eventual release.

'Hey! Is that a shotgu...BLAM!' Point Lookout, the explosive new expansion for Fallout 3 has been released for Xbox 360 and PC players.

As mentioned back in May, Point Lookout, as well as Mothership Zeta (which arrives this July for Xbox and PC) will eventually make their way to PS3, but only for the PlayStation Network as "Retail versions of the game add-on packs for PS3 are not possible."

The Fallout 3 patch 1.6 can be found on FileShack in US, UK and German territories, each taking up about 50MB and is "A simple patch, simply adding achievements for Point Lookout."

We'll keep you posted as Fallout 3's upcoming Mothership Zeta makes its way to the Xbox and PC later this July.

Bethesda said the First FO3 DLC would hit PS3 late June,. well today is the last update Thursday of June where is our Fallout3 DLC ?!?

not one dlc arrived on time on the 360 so dont expect any of the times to be right on the ps3

What they need to do is to raise the damn level cap again. Nevertheless I am excited to download Point Lookout.

yeah agreed i wouldnt mind a minor dlc pack that containted some new armor/enemies/level cap increase like oblivion had(ignore horse armor....)

Why is the Gmaepro calender showing Mothership Zeta is being released for PS3 this week?/ I heard eventually it will come out but come on Gamepro...get it together! If this is true...it should be a headline. Either way, terrible job.
