Augmented Reality is steadily creeping its way onto handhelds, and none are more creepy than the Nintendo DSi's Ghostwire.
Augmented Reality is slowly becoming more prevalent within the industry. First Sony unveiled Invizimals for their PSP systems, which allows users to search for little monsters, collect them and then put them into battle.

For Nintendo, their first foray into Augmented Reality is decidedly more disturbing, as users will have the ability to wander about town with their DSi, utilizing all of its features (camera, microphone and touch screen) to search for ghosts and to try and help them resolve their unfinished business, so that they may leave in peace.
It's too early to tell whether this is going to be a really immersive and frightening experience, or simply just a lame gimmick, but the trailer itself is pretty darn disturbing for a DSi game.
