God of War 3 Extended E3 demo: 13 Minutes of Gameplay Revealed

During Sony's media briefing at E3 2009, the God of War III demo presentation was unfortunately cut short. But, for those eager to see the bloody madness Kratos unleashes in the upcoming title, look no further, as the full 13 minute demo is revealed.

If you were adamant about not buying a PS3 until a price cut was released, then you might want to avert your eyes, as this extended gameplay footage from the God of War III E3 demo is super bloody, super gruesome, and so super awesome it would make Gandhi want to play it. Looks like Sony may have us by the balls on this one, or should I say, eye-balls?... You'll get the crappy joke when you watch the footage.

Again, this is just an extended version of the E3 demo, so if you want to see the new stuff, I suggest speeding up to around minute six.

God of War III is set for release in March 2010.

THE VERDICT by Sean Mirkovich Sean Mirkovich's Avatar Kratos ripping the eye out of the cyclops works as a perfect visual metaphor for my frustration at no PS3 price drop. All the same, can't wait for this madness, price drop or no.

i cant wait for this game. i'd say the choice for best of e3 goes to tis, uncharted 2, or project natal.

This is a longer version of that God of War III video from E3. This one has the Helios' decapitation and Cyclops riding.

I......am.......Speechless......That was amazing. Holy.....Crap. Wow, Wow, Wow. I mean, how the.....I guess no one was lying when they said the PS3 was a Powerhouse. Holy, Crapidy Crap. better get my comment in before the xbox fans coming roaring in. this game looks flat out amazing. another quality 1st party game for my ps3 collection!!! im going broke this year...wait...i already am...but at least i'll have a great time being broke

Kratos has some long ass toes, maybe thats why he can stay on top of so many creatures, he just digs in to them with their feet. And looks good cant wait to play but please dont act like this something revolutionary visually or gameplay wise. Its fun a game but it was innovative the first time, its still fun and im gonna get it but I think GOW is starting to get Halo single player hype. Fun game not the greatest looking game or the most innovative its hack and slash then QTE, then some more hack and slash. But i want to reiterate that this game is fun i want to get it, i am not a fanboy im just stating my opinion.

Wait a min I got a QUESTION?? Kratos fights the titans as well in 3?? in the last seconds I just saw him draw out his sword against the titan??
