Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 top Game Critics Best of E3 Nominees

The Game Critics Awards, which compiles rankings from 29 of the most well-known media outlets, has announced the Best of E3 2009 nominees.

The Game Critics Awards, a collection of 29 top gaming media outlets (GamePro included), has announced its nominees for its annual "Best of E3" awards. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Brutal Legend topped the nominee list, with four nods apiece. The top nominated company this year was EA, which garnered 18 nominations, five more than its closest competitor (Sony). In terms of consoles, the Xbox 360 barely edged out the PlayStation 3 with 42 nominiees to Sony's 39 (multiplatform nominees counted for each of the consoles the games appeared on).
