VG247 reports that the Xbox 360-exclusive sequel to 2007's Crackdown, appropriately titled Crackdown 2, will support four player co-op as well as up to 16 player multiplayer matches.

These new details on Crackdown 2, which is slated for a 2010 release date, were first revealed on the official Xbox.com Crackdown 2 page.

THE VERDICT by Patrick Shaw Patrick Shaw's Avatar Andy Burt and I are HUGE Crackdown fans, and when they announced Crackdown 2 at Microsoft's E3 conference we simultaneously peed ourselves. Can't wait to jump into more Crackdown, especially in four-player co-op.

I was hoping for a holiday season release, i cant wait for this game.. I still play the original every now and then wit my friends
