Zelda Wii: first image of new Zelda game revealed

NEW ZELDA Wii GAME: Take a look at the first image for the upcoming next video game in The Legend of Zelda series, which is headed to the Nintendo Wii in 2010.

At E3 2009 last week, concept art was unveiled for Nintendo's highly-anticipated untitled Zelda sequel for the Nintendo Wii. This will be the next The Legend of Zelda game released after The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and the second game in the franchise to come out on the Wii (the first was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess). While we know next to nothing about The new Wii Zelda game, we do know that it is currently scheduled for a 2010 release date.

what the heck is that thing? and yeah, where is Link's sword? don't tell me it's some kind of spiritual being that slashes like a sword when you swing the wiimote. what am I saying? it doesn't matter what it is or what they do with this zelda game, I'll buy it no matter what because zelda games are always incredible.

What the hell happened. Zelda used to be the biggest thing in the gaming world(to some of us, it still is). A Zelda game announcement meant fans soiling there pants out of pure joy and Nintendo haters out of fear that the Nintendo console would own the generation, now it's treated like "just another game" which is a crying shame. What happened :'(

He has always been left hand yes. But in Twilight Princess he was made Right handed for the Wii version as those of us(myself included) who are left handed are a minority.

What are you talking about? It still is. Console Zelda games only come every 3 to 4 years. Just wait for the teaser trailer for this game. That will surely send shock waves. You can't say much from a piece of artwork.

one of two games i miss playing from Nintendo and Mario Kart makes the other. i still cant believe Nintendo haven't made a real Donkey Kong game.

Well i've heard that the girl(?) in the picture is the spiritual representation of the sword. So maybe the next Zelda story involves Link's sword coming to life and guiding him to wherever the heck he has to go. Just a guess.
