Developed by Lionhead, Milo, a highly interactive new video game created by Fable's Peter Molyneux was unveiled today at Microsoft's E3 keynote. The system is so intricate that it can even register your own facial expressions.

Molyneux reveals 'Project Milo', features groundbreaking realistic motion/voice interaction

Peter Molyneux unveils 'Project Milo' a new groundbreaking interactive game from Lionhead.

In the video, we see a woman talking with Milo and coming up to a lake where she interacts with the water, which amazingly shows her own reflection in the ripples. Another pretty amazing technical trick was that the woman drew a picture of a fish for Milo and by bringing the paper up the camera, was able to hand him the drawing in his virtual world.

Whether or not Milo will be entertaining, boring, or just downright creepy, it's clear that the technology used is pretty impressive and may even act as a stepping stone in the direction of video games in the future.

THE VERDICT by Sean Mirkovich Sean Mirkovich's Avatar I'm not gonna lie, I found this pretty freakin' amazing. While the Milo kid kind of reminded me of Alex from A Clockwork Orange, the reflection in the water and the handing of the paper to the kid was pretty amazing. I'm not sure where this will take the industry, but the possibilities seem pretty incredible.
