EA's Grand Slam Tennis, a new sports franchise for the Wii

EA Sports' series of reveals began with a closer look at Fight Night Round 4, which will be launching on June 25. Along with twice the frames per second of its predecessor, FNR4 will incorporate much faster gameplay in which a boxer's height and reach can make a great deal of difference in your fighting style.

NCAA Football 10 and Madden NFL 10 will both have Internet components when they're released. NCAA Football 10's Team Builder is already available to fiddle around with, a month ahead of the game's release. Madden 10's Online Franchise, meanwhile, should allow for tweaking your Madden teams and interacting with other players in a half fantasy football, half social networking setup once it's released.

The audience also got looks at EA's two new sports franchise games, MMA and Grand Slam Tennis. MMA will familiar to anyone who knows about the mixed-martial arts cage matches common in UFC tournaments (although, it should be noted, it's not an official UFC game), while Grand Slam Tennis will be a Wii game that takes full advantage of the Wii MotionPlus enhanced WiiMote. Chalk up another two sports to EA!

I think EA wants to have all the sports franchise for him and I think that EA is damage the sports genre because they dont want competition. I think 2k would be a good choice to do sports game. EA is not capable to do sports game

rpking17, 2K? Really? Have you played any of their sports games? They're absolute garbage, especially baseball. Should be called 2KSucks!
