Harmonix reveals songs, DLC, and surprise guests for The Beatles: Rock Band

At the top of Microsoft's media briefing at E3, more details we're revealed about Harmonix's upcoming The Beatles: Rock Band video game, including some songs and DLC.

Amongst a live performance and surprise guests, including none other than Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr themselves, Harmonix revealed 9 songs that will definitely be featured in The Beatles: Rock Band

In a surprise appearance, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr appeared at Harmonix's preview of The Beatles: Rock Band.

The songs revealed were:

"Day Tripper"
"I Am The Walrus"
"Back In The USSR"
"Tax Man"
"Here Coms The Sun"
"Octopuses Garden"
"Get Back"
"I Feel Fine"

All feature fun animations behind the new innovative three-part harmony vocal bars that scroll across the screen as you play. It was also revealed that "All You Need Is Love" will be coming to the game as Xbox exclusive downloadable content, where all proceeds from the song will go to the Doctors Without Borders Charity.

Harmonix revealed that they will be releasing full albums from The Beatles as downloadable content, with the entire album of Abbey Road being the first available for purchase after the game launches.

The Beatles: Rock Band will be released on September 9, 2009 for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.
