Kojima's 'Next' site updated: The storm is over, the sky is sunny, the final countdown?

Perhaps for the last time, Konami's Kojima "Next" website has updated, and it showcases some bright light peaking through the clouds, sounds of what appear to be the ocean, and the fading image of the number 8 or the letter B.
As of this writing, there is 06: 25: 10 left on perhaps the last countdown of Kojima's "Next" website (Although, unfortunately that seems doubtful, as Konami's press conference at E3 isn't until Wednesday). After all this time, patiently waiting through countdown after countdown, holding back tears and aggression towards something so cruelly enigmatic, it seems the storm may finally be passing by at least the end of this Wednesday and we will be granted access to the promised land of whatever it is Kojima has up his sleeve.
The storm is over, the clouds are parting and the brilliant sun is shining through. Yet, we still probably have two days until we found out what the heck any of this means.
The updated site no longer has harsh rain, but is a quiet tranquil scene. There is some clouds in the sky, but they are broken by the sun peeking through. One could say, that it is a "Sunny" scene, if one were so inclined to use puns. The number 8 or the letter B fades in and out, while the soundtrack is of what seems to be the beach and ocean waves. Of course, it could be the sound of a large field of grass ebbing and flowing, but it sounds pretty distinctly like the ocean.
All the same, the end is nigh. Whatever last countdowns or teaser images they have for the next couple of days, it doesn't really matter, as this Wednesday at 3 p.m. Konami promises to hold some "groundbreaking announcements" that will feature a"variety of high-profile speakers for all major platforms."
As a near-final roundup, lets look over what we've been subjected to for the last few weeks or so:
The letters and numbers featured on the site:
"S" (or the number "5")
"R"
"P"
"E"
"C"
"@" (or a lowercase "e")
"O" (or the number "0")
"5" (or the letter "S")
"3"
"6"
"0" (or the letter "O")
"8" (or the letter "B")
And some of the images we've been teased with:
