Tomonobu Itagaki, Tecmo's former bad-ass developer, is back in style (shades included) with a brand new team and an exclusive new Xbox 360 game up his sleeve.
In what was an undeniably devastating blow to the gaming community, all-star developer Tomonobu Itagaki -- the mastermind behind such hits as Ninja Gaiden and the Dead or Alive series -- left his employers, Tecmo, after suing the company over unpaid royalties. Ever since his disappearance, we've been waiting with baited breath for any news regarding Itagaki's return. What would this mean for Ninja Gaiden? Will Dead or Alive: Code Chronos ever see the light of day?
Well, thanks to the good folks over at 1UP, we don't have to wait much longer. In an exclusive interview, the iconic Itagaki revealed that he is currently spearheading a new team of game designers and developers, largely made up of ex-Team Ninja staffers. This mystery team is going by the tentative name of "Tokyo Vikings" and looks to set the gaming world on fire once more.
As of this posting, Itagaki and co. are hard at work on their next game -- an Xbox 360 exclusive. With early reports that the title is in fact *not* a fighting game, rumors of Itagaki's return to the Dead or Alive franchise may have to be shelved, for the moment.
Itagaki's back and better than ever

Whatever, I can't stand this guy and his arrogance. He said NG 2 was going to be the best in the series, not so much. He needs to spend some money on his face that's for sure, Mr. Rockstar...

That makes no sense. It's still exclusive since no one else but 1up interviewed Itagaki. That's what they mean by exclusive interview.
Anyway, I never liked Itagaki very much and even though I liked NG Sigma, there are other games out there that are just as good and a few that are even better. Shigeru Miyamoto, David Jaffe, Hideo Jokima and Peter Molineux, to name only a few, are much more talented people in my opinion.

Your joking right. Peter molineux and hideo kojima better than itagaki don't make me laugh you need to share what your smoking with the class because it's good stuff. While I will admit I love metal gear the gameplay is nowhere near ninja gaiden and while fable is ok at best it's no where near any of his games david jaffe is good but two god of war games doesn't make you a legend like itagaki the guys been around since the nes and it's unfair to compare anyone to miyamoto the guy is a gaming god.
