David Jaffe is 'not showing' his mysterious post God of War game at E3, but 'fully expects' it to be at E3 2010

The director of the original God of War and Twisted Metal will be attending E3 2009 next week, but he won't be showing us his new game.

In an interview with VG247, video game designer David Jaffe, known for influential Sony titles like God of War, Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal 2, and Twisted Metal: Black, which span all three generations of the PlayStation (PS, PS2, and PS3), says that he will not be showing off his new game at E3 2009. Jaffe, who will be attending the event, admits that he'd "love to announce" his top secret new game at E3 2009, but he's not quite ready to do so. He does say that his new game will be at next year's E3.
"I'll say it right now, because some people are speculating: we're absolutely not going to be at E3. I will be there, and Scott Campbell may be there, but we're not showing anything... ...next year, I fully expect us to be on the showfloor." -David Jaffe

As long as it's not Calling All Cars 2, Jaffe's next game should be something to keep an eye out for.

As long as it's not Calling All Cars 2, Jaffe's next game should be something to keep an eye out for.
... but I liked Calling All Cars.
