It's been three weeks now, and we've suffered through a cryptic e-mail, we've endured the ravages of a tantalizing magazine spread, we've fought off our lust as a website went live with moving clouds and an enigmatic fence in the distance, and now after all our waiting, after all our suffering, after all our patient faith in Kojima giving us a Metal Gear 5, what has Kojima revealed? Backwards numbers and another countdown. But, there's also some rain to cheer you up!
Yesterday, GamePro ran a story about a new Metal Gear game being revealed in an upcoming issue of Famitsu magazine, and spoke of how the infamous countdown clock on Kojima's Production Website was to run out at 6:00 PM PST. Well, the clock ran out, and what did it reveal? Another bloody countdown. As of this writing, we've 103 hours, 4 minutes and 43 seconds until yet again Kojima undoubtably teases us with something equally mysterious and frustrating.
Kojima reveals another countdown to their previous countdown. Perhaps the big title reveal will be entitled Metal Gear Countdown: Tears of the Gamer

What's new, besides the new countdown clock, is the fact that there is now rain and lighting passing across the field and the letter E (which is backwards sometimes, which could then work as a 3) seems to flash every now and then, along with a backwards 9. The original 5 or S that popped up in the last incarnation of the site, flashes as well. Some seem convinced the 5 or S, stands for a Metal Gear 5, but what could the E and 9 stand for? Perhaps someone versed in symbology or is an expert at solving anagrams might have a clue, but as for the rest of us, we're quite perplexed. Again.
Once more, Kojima has duped us into waiting for another announcement of an announcement. But, one can't blame them, for if it's anticipation they're trying to build, they've certainly accomplished just that.
Stay tuned, for in 4 days we'll see if the storm of anticipation decides to subside, or is just getting started.

How about, the 5 is for Metal Gear Solid 5, and the backwards 3 or 'E' could be for more to follow at the E show..... As for the 9...not too sure about that one.

backwards 9? How about a lowercase "E"? I don't see anything backwards on the site...
critical thinking, Gamepro.

Lowercase "E", backwards "9", regular "3", the number 5 or the letter S, whatever they all are, my head is spinning. Probably from looking far too much into it. If indeed it is a lowercase E, what do we now have, E3 e5? Guess I was too tired to notice the obvious E3, but it's still up in the air as to what it could be. Probably another Metal Gear (lets hope), but who knows, I'd be equally excited if Kojima released a brand new series. Here's to over-analysis!

I wouldn't be too surprised if it's MGS5, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. Having the 5 in the first countdown before this latest one just seems too obvious to me. It would not be surprising at all if Kojima is trying to mislead us into thinking it's something (MGS5) just to completely surprise us with something else. But then again, I also wouldn't be surprised if he's just trying to string us along for a lengthy, aggravating wait just to find out it's what we thought all along.

Some also seem to think the lowercase "e" could actually be an @. So could it be 5@E3???

OR could it be e3 9 as in e3 09?
Or maybe we are all wrong and it's ZOE3.
