THE VERDICT by Sean Mirkovich Sean Mirkovich's Avatar A few of us around the office have played Rock Band Unplugged, and word of mouth is that it's an awesome experience and incredibly addictive. I'm pretty sold, but when is someone going to include "I'd Do Anything For Love" by Meatloaf in one of these games?... I would do anything for that....

I love Rock Band, and I think that it is superior to the Guitar Hero series.

However I have big reservations about a portable version without the peripherals.

I know they added the fact that you have to jump between playing several different parts, but IMHO the guitar and drum peripherals are what make the game so much darn fun.

Rock Band and Guitar Hero are getting ridiculous

true that....they should just release downloadable songs and thats it..plus i dont play any of those games cuz im a musician..but....when i was a beginner at guitar Guitar Hero and Rock Band was fun.........but now its..meh

lol, should have been for the ds, at least the DS already has a peripheral that does the guitar and bass, touchscreen could have been used for the drums and the mic for vocals, EA is really missing out on something big.

Rockband is badass Guitar hero sucks and completely copied Rockband. At least rockband took the guitar game idea and expanded but when guitar hero world tour came out they completely stole the exact idea of rockband. I think the portable rockband is great and although it is not like the original because of the lack of "instruments" it is still fun to play on the go.

BTW DS can suck on a fat one.
